Our Friday lunch last week included students from the University of Montreal and a presentation from 4 students from U of M's SNRE (School of Natural Resources and Environment) masters program who spent a year with us helping us develop triple-bottom-line businesses.

On Saturday the 20th De-tread launched its pilot tire-removal project in the Osborne neighborhood with help from the Osborne Neighborhood Alliance. Waddles Tire Service did the pick-up for processing.

303 tires were removed in about 20 minutes - time to celebrate!

Two signs were put in place where the tires had been dumped to remind people that this is now officially a no-dump zone.
